**Is it a blog or a book? A devotional or a comic strip? Is it for kids, teens, or adults? Exactly what is The Morris Muse Experiment?**

It’s all of the above, and more! The Morris Muse Experiment (The MME) is a blog, book, devotional, and a comic strip for all ages. It’s three separate stories about the same character, Morris Muse, at three different stages of his life. There’s nine-year old Li’l Mo, 16-year old Mo’ Muse, and 39-year old Morris Muse.

Let’s break it down. It’s a …

comic strip, kind of. A graphic novel, maybe. You decide. It doesn’t really matter what you call it, as long as you enjoy the storyline and grow in faith.
trilogy, but even more, a simultaneous trilogy because all of these stories are told at the same time.
blog. Each post is a new chapter, of sorts.
devotional. Most posts have a commentary, Scripture, and occasionally remarks from the author.
an experiment! The comics are an experiment because they’re all of the above and more; a fusion of storytelling elements designed to engage the readers and provoke thoughtful conversation.

Connecting the Dots of Life to GOD

Using simple narratives The MME teaches children, teens and adults how to view the world through Biblical lenses. Each story connects the dots of life back to God.

It is an opportunity for believers to continue to grow in this discipline while offering insight to those outside the faith as to how Christians view and process the world. The MME is a tool to bring understanding and open up pathways of communication and discussion.

A Deuteronomy 6 Response

In Deuteronomy 6:6-7 the Lord instructs parents to teach their children about Him at every opportunity. The MME is written to facilitate those learning experiences by presenting every day situations and Biblical concepts in a story format created to engage and inspire thinking, learning and talking about God in a home, church or school setting.

Discipleship & Education

The START THE CONVERSATION and KEEP THE CONVERSATION GOING components are ideal for family devotions and can serve as mini lessons suitable for a multitude of learning settings, including home discipleship, home schools, Sunday school classes and ministry groups for all ages. The comic narratives are designed to jump start discussion, while the accompanying devotional will keep the conversation going by giving background to the message and insight into the Biblical perspective. Questions and references are provided to fuel further thought, inquiry and deeper conversation. Parents, ministry leaders, and Christian teachers will find the materials straight forward and easy to implement.

Evangelism Bookmark Tracts

Share The MME as a tract. Each comic narrative is able to stand alone, pulled from the whole of the story and used to engage conversation, presenting opportunities to discuss all things pertaining to life and the Christian faith. Every comic storyline is tied into the Gospel message where readers are invited to believe and accept God’s gift of salvation.

The Sounding Board is a diverse group of people who produce and/or read and review the content published on the site. They are a mix of both believers and unbelievers, all offering insight and perspective that would otherwise be impossible to achieve.
