Update: 2/21/2025

Dear Friends and Family,

I cannot thank you all enough for joining me on this journey. I’m using my blog to post updates going forward so that those who are in text chains won’t be disturbed by the responses of others.

Let’s get right to it. How am I? I’m doing just fine even though the second attempt at implanting the bile duct stent did not work. Of course I was disappointed but I trust God thoroughly in this healing journey. He knows and He works everything out for my good (Romans 8:28) because that’s what He says and He cannot lie (Hebrews 6:18). It is in times like this that Scripture becomes real on a whole new level. This is a time for me of increased faith (Mark 9:23-24). One thing I know, God is with me as He promises to never leave us or forsake us. (Deuteronomy 31:8)

So continue to pray for me that God will continue to strengthen, encourage, guide and direct me. Pray also for my family. They need your prayers as much as I do.

Things will be quiet for a little while. I’ll be here over the weekend and into next week as plan b is discussed and put into place. Again, not the option I wanted but the one I accept. God knows. I love Him and He loves me and you.

Numbers 23:19 God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?

Mark 9:23-24 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

Deuteronomy 31:8 “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
